Tuesday (30/01/2024) at the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of the Main Building of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FFMS UB), an opening ceremony was held for the visiting professor activity by the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources Management (MSPK) FFMS UB. During this activity, the Letter of Intent (LOI) document was also signed between FFMS UB and the Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia.
The process of signing the Letter of Intent (LOI) document was carried out directly by the Dean of FFMS UB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Maftuch, M.Si, accompanied with the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. Asep Awaludin Prihanto and the Chair of the MSPK Department, Rahmi Nurdiani, Ph.D., witnessed directly by representatives from the Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia, namely TS. Dr. Rovina Kobun (Head of Food Science and Nutrition) along with the leaders of departments, study programs and laboratories within the FFMS UB.
In the LoI, there is a collaboration agreement between the two institutions to support the “Tri Dharma of Higher Education” of FFMS UB. Apart from that, there is also a student mobility agreement between the two institutions. With the signing of this LoI in the future, it is hoped that collaboration between the two parties can be well established and sustainable until the signing of the MoU between the two parties. [ATB]
