Blood Donation: Health Benefits and Social Impact

Blood donation has significant health benefits and social impact. Why is blood donation good for health and beneficial? Regular blood donation can help reduce the risk of heart disease. When donating blood, the body stimulates the production of new blood cells and helps maintain a healthy circulatory system. Blood donation also assists in maintaining healthy iron levels. Additionally, blood donation is a noble act that can save other people’s lives and contribute positively to society.

Therefore, in commemoration of Kartini Day and National Resurrection Day, the Women’s Association of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences at Universitas Brawijaya (DWP FFMS UB), in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross, is organizing the “Healthy and Beneficial” Blood Donation Event.
