Implementation and Registration for the Interim Semester T.A. 2023/2024

In order to improve students’ GPA and prevent academic discontinuation, an interim semester will be held during the Even Semester of T.A. 2023/2024. The following provisions apply:

1. Eligibility: Only active-status students are eligible to register for the Interim Semester.
2. Course Interest Data Collection: Students interested in the interim semester must register their course preferences using the following link: https://s.ub.ac.id/smtantara2324
3. Maximum Credit: Students can program a maximum of 9 credits for the interim semester (including practical components).
4. Repeat Courses and Practical Component: For repeated courses, passing the practical component is mandatory.
5. New Courses Eligibility: Only new courses without practical components can be programmed for the interim semester.
6. Course Offerings: Interim semester courses will be offered based on a minimum enrollment of 10 students. Students whose courses meet the eligibility criteria must complete payment and register for the interim semester.
7. Tuition Fees: According to the Rector’s Regulation No. 49 of 2023 regarding Interim Semester Tuition Fees at Universitas Brawijaya, the registration fee is Rp. 200,000 per credit (excluding practical components). For example, if a course like Ichthyology has 3 credits (2 theory credits + 1 practical credit), the registration fee would be 2 x 200,000 = Rp. 400,000.
8. Minimum Enrollment Exception: If the number of interested students is less than 10, and a student still wishes to take a specific course during the interim semester, they can proceed by paying the equivalent registration fee for 10 students.
