Dean of FFMS UB, Prof. Maftuch, M.Si., welcomed eFishery with a welcome and gratitude for this return visit. He expressed his hope that this visit could result in beneficial collaboration in various aspects, as well as mutual exploration of potential that can be developed together.

eFishery is a startup that focuses on aquaculture, especially in developing technology to increase the productivity of fish and shrimp farmers. They also offer funding programs such as “Kabayan (Kasi Bayar Nanti)“, which helps farmers by providing feed and seeds in advance, and the harvest will be returned to eFishery.

This visit by eFishery involved 9 people led by Asahedi Umoro as Research and Development Manager. They explained that this visit was a response to the previous visit from FFMS UB to eFishery, which was followed by the signing of an MoU for collaboration in technology and aquaculture development. eFishery hopes to utilize this visit to follow up on previous efforts, especially in terms of research, digital technology development, and solving problems faced by farmers in aquaculture, especially for shrimp farmers. Today’s discussion will focus on the challenges faced in supporting farmers, and eFishery hopes to get feedback and solutions from the research results that can be implemented for the benefit of farmers.
