
On Friday, September 20, 2024, the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FFMS UB) together with the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (FTI UAD) officially launched the Student Exchange Program between the Fisheries Product Technology (THP) and Food Technology (TP) Study Programs. The inauguration event held at Universitas Brawijaya involved 100 students from both study programs, with the aim of strengthening academic collaboration and providing valuable learning experiences for students.
Present at this event were the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FFMSUB, Prof. Dr.Sc. Asep Awaludin Prihanto, S.Pi., MP, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Eng. Abu Bakar Sambah, S.Pi., MT, and the Head of the Department of Marine and Fisheries Resources Management (MSPK), Rahmi Nurdiani, S.Pi., M.App.Sc., Ph.D., who showed full support for this exchange initiative. In addition, the Head of the THP Study Program, Retno Tri Astuti, S.Si., M.Si., along with several Head of Study Programs of FFMS UB, Head of Academic Sub-Division, Brone THP Team, THP Digital Learning Development and Implementation Team (P3D), also participated in the event, accompanying 50 exchange students from THP.
From Ahmad Dahlan University, online , the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Jamilatun, MT, and the Head of the Food Technology Study Program, Ir. Titisari Juwitaningtyas, STP, M.Sc., along with a number of lecturers from the Food Technology Study Program and 50 students participating in the exchange program were present.
This exchange program will take place in the Odd Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year, where students will have the opportunity to convert around 10 credits in the “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) scheme. Through this program, it is hoped that students can broaden their horizons and improve their academic and social experiences. In addition, this program is also expected to strengthen collaboration between Universitas Brawijaya and Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.
With the spirit of collaboration and innovation, this activity is believed to have a positive impact on the development of higher education at both universities.
