Aquaculture  is a study program that is established and intended to study the sciences and aquaculture technology and management of aquaculture activities ranging from freshwater, brackish and sustainable marine (Sustainable Aquaculture). The focus of assessment or interest in certain problems in aquaculture activities are reflected in the final project (essay) students.

  1. Reproduction and Breeding Fish
  2. Fish Nutrition
  3. Parasites and Diseases of Fish
  4. Aquaculture Management

Total students of PS. BP until the year 2012/2013 as many as 572 people with the total of teachers as many as 29 people with education strata S3 (4 professors), S2 and S1. Alumni who have produced as many as> 1,500 people scattered in various areas with the scope of work as civil servant, consultant, BUMN, Industry, Banking, researcher, entrepreneur, and teacher.

Applicative technology package that has produced among other  Selective breeding (broodstock management), gynogenesis, Polyploidisasi (triploid and tetraploid), induce spawning (spawning stimulation), artificial breeding, Sex reversal, recirculation systems, aquaculture waste management (bioremediation), probiotics, Immunostimulants , Integrated Aquaculture concept, a variety of fish feed formulation for freshwater, brackish and marine various levels stadia, Feed additives, production and enrichment of natural food (Chlorella vulgaris, Nannochloropsis oculata and Spirulina fusiform), fish transportation technology, the concept of planning, mapping and regional development cultivation, as well as a variety of appropriate technology hatcheries and rearing various consumption and ornamental fish, crustacean and oyster.
