Mission of FPIK UB
- Conducting educational process, research and dedication to entrepreneurship-based society in order to produce graduates with academic ability, international standard and personality in science and technology development in fishery and marine field
- To develop science and technology in fishery and marine sector in the management and utilization of fishery resources that productive and environmentally sustainable.
- Implement science and technology in the field of fisheries and marine in order to improve the standard of living and welfare of the community.
The Purpose of Education in FPIK UB
- Conducting education to international standard in S1, S2 and S3 study program to answer real issues of development in fishery and marine field and the development of fishery science and marine science.
- Developing science and technology in the field of fisheries and maritime that compete nationally, regionally and globally.
- To produce qualified graduates, devoted to God Almighty, enterpreunership spirit, environmentally friendly and able to compete in international level.
- Have ability in community empowerment through development of problem solving concept.
- Publication of research results of science and technology development in fishery and marine field that is beneficial to society, nation and state.
