  1. Implementation and development of education within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;  
  2. Implementation of research for the development of Fisheries Science and Marine Sciences;  
  3. Implementation of community service;  
  4. Implementation of guidance of academicians; and  
  5. Implementation of administrative matters.
     
  1. The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs has the task of assisting the Dean in leading the implementation of education, research, and community service.  
  2. The Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs has the task of assisting the Dean in leading the implementation of activities in the areas of planning, finance, general administration, and information systems.  
  3. The Vice Dean for Student Affairs has the task of assisting the Dean in leading the implementation of activities in the field of student and alumni.
Has the task of giving consideration and supervision of the Dean in the academic implementation in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The Faculty Senate consists of at least a chairman and secretary. The Faculty Senate is appointed and dismissed by the Rector for a term of 4 (four) years. Further provisions regarding Faculty Senate institution is regulated in Rector Regulation.
     
  1. Implementation of planning, program, and budgeting affairs within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;  
  2. Implementation of financial affairs within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;  
  3. Implementation of education, research and community service in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;  
  4. Implementation of student affairs and alumni within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;  
  5. Implementation of management and staffing affairs within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;  
  6. Implementation of administrative affairs, housekeeping, and state property within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;  
  7. Implementation of data management Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science; and  
  8. Implementation of evaluation and reporting of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The administrative division of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences consists of:
       
    1. The Academic Sub-Section has the task of conducting educational, research, and community service and data management, evaluation and reporting of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.  
    2. The General Sub-Section and State Property have the duty of doing business administration, housekeeping and management of state property.  
    3. The Finance and Personnel subdivisions have the task of undertaking planning, finance, management, and staffing issues.  
    4. The Subdivision of Student Affairs and Alumni has the duty of doing student affairs and alumni.

The department is led by a Chief of the Department who is responsible to
Dean. Head of Department in carrying out its duties assisted by
a Secretary of the Department. Chairman and Secretary of the Department are appointed and
dismissed by the Rector after receiving the consideration of the Faculty Senate
Fisheries and Marine Science for a term of 4 (four) years counted since
the inauguration and thereafter may be re-elected in the same position only
for a one-time term.

Department of Fishery Resource Management consists of:
a. Chairman;
b. Secretary;
c. Study program:
1. Bachelor of Aquaculture;
2. Bachelor of Fishery Resource Management; and
3. Bachelor of Technology of Fishery Products.
d. Functional Position Group Lecturer of Fishery Resource Management.

The Department of Fisheries and Marine Social Economics consists of:
a. Chairman;
b. Secretary;
c. Undergraduate Program of Fishery Agribusiness; and
d. Functional Lecturer Group of Fisheries and Marine Social Economics Lecturer.

Department of Fishery and Marine Resources Utilization consists of:
a. Chairman;
b. Secretary;
c. Study program:
1. Bachelor of Marine Science;
2. Bachelor of Utilization of Fishery Resources; and
d. Functional Position Group Lecturer of Fishery Resources Utilization
and Marine.

Department of Fisheries and Marine Sciences consists of:

a. Chairman;
b. Secretary;
c. Study program:

1. Master of Aquaculture; and
2. Doctor of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
d. Functional Position Group Lecturer of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.

It is a unity of educational and learning activities that have a particular curriculum and learning method in one type of academic education, professional education, and / or vocational education. In conducting the study program, the Rector appointed and dismissed a lecturer as a coordinator called the Head of Study Program. The Head of Study Program is responsible to the Dean through the Head of Department and coordinates with the Head of Department in accordance with the interests of fishery and marine science.
A group of professional educators and scientists with the primary task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science and technology through education, research and community service. The functional position group in each Department may consist of Interest Field or Department whose type and formation are further stipulated in the Faculty Rules. Each Interest Area or Department within the lecturers functional group is coordinated by a Coordinator who is appointed and dismissed by the Dean. The lecturer is responsible to the Dean through the Head of Department. Lecturer functional group positions are defined according to need and workload. The type and ladder of lecturers functional function is regulated according to legislation.


Is a supporting tool for the implementation of education in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The laboratory has the duty to conduct activities in the branch of science and technology as supporting the implementation of education tasks, research, and dedication to the community in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The laboratory consists of:
a. Hydrobiology Laboratory;
b. Fish Cultivation Laboratory;
c. Laboratory of Aquatic Product Technology Science;
d. Freshwater Fisheries Laboratory Source of Sand;
e. Brackishwater and Probolinggo Marine Water Laboratories;
f. Marine Station Laboratory Sendang Biru;
g. Ngijo Fisheries Agribusiness Laboratory;
h. Fisheries and Marine Resources Exploration Laboratory;
i. Fishery and Marine Resources Exploitation Laboratory;
j. Fisheries Socio Economic Laboratory.

Each laboratory is led by a lecturer or other functional personnel whose expertise has met the requirements in accordance with the fishery and marine science which is further regulated in the Regulations of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The laboratory leader is responsible to the Dean and is appointed and dismissed by the Rector.


Implement coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of research activities, community service, and faculty cooperation. BPPM’s organization consists of a chairman, a secretary, a field leader, and a group of studies / devotion / cooperation. The Chairman, Secretary and Chief of the field shall be appointed and dismissed by the Dean for a term of 4 (four) years.

The Chairman of BPPM is responsible to the Dean. The study / devotion / cooperation group encompasses the study / service / cooperation group whose establishment is established by the Dean’s Regulation and its governance structure stipulated by Dean Decree, headed by a Chief who is responsible to the Dean through the Chairman of BPPM. Chairman of the study group / devotion / cooperation
serving for a period of 1 (one) year and can only be extended for one term. BPPM has functions:
a. improving the quality and quantity of research, scientific work, community service, and national and international cooperation;
b. preparing BPPM plans, programs and budgets;
c. implementation of scientific research, community service, and faculty cooperation;
d. coordination of the implementation of research activities, community service, and cooperation;
e. publication of research results, community service, and cooperation;
f. the implementation of cooperation in the field of research and dedication to the community with universities and / or other institutions both domestically and abroad;
g. monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of research activities, community service, and faculty cooperation; and
h. reporting periodically to the Dean.


PSIK Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences is a manager of information systems, information technology infrastructure at the Faculty level, led by a Coordinator who is appointed and responsible to the Dean. PSIK Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences has the duty:
a. publications and public relations, includes:
1. to plan and design the publication of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;
2. managing the official website of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences in Indonesian and English;
3. update data and information about the activities of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;
4. providing assistance to online publications for faculty and staff;
5. to coordinate with UB Information and Documentation Management Officer.
b. data collection and information systems, includes:
1. to assist and provide support for other units within the internal Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences that require the assistance of information technology;
2. managing the Faculty’s digital archives;
3. together with UPT ICT provides socialization of information and communication technology services of UB;
4. coordinate with other units in the internal Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences to prepare data reporting at UB level; and together with UPT ICT provides information technology training
periodically to UB human resources, both lecturers, education staff, and students.
c. infrastructure,  includes:
1. managing information and communication technology infrastructure Faculty of Fishery and Marine Science by following the standard of management and quality policy of information and communication technology infrastructure of UB;
2. to ensure availability of access to information technology services for UB academicians;
3. to coordinate the development and implementation of information technology services with ICT Unit;
4. coordinate the implementation of infrastructure maintenance and technical support with ICT Unit;
5. to prepare documentation of infrastructure and information technology services of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences;
6. carry out monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of information technology; and
7. prepare and submit periodic reports on the field of development and application of information technology to UPT ICT.
d. complaint handling, includes:
1. providing a special email complaint using UB’s official email;
2. check the complainant’s special email at any time and submit the complaint to the supervisor for follow-up;
3. send a response or a grievance redress plan to the Information Management and Documentation Officer;
4. include the cause / root of the problem, the solution plan, and the timing of completion in each response or complaint improvement plan; and perform complaint documentation.


Elements of technical implementers in the field of journal publishing and publication of scientific works of lecturers and students. The CPM is responsible to
Dean. Further provisions concerning the organizational structure of BPJ are regulated in the Faculty Rules. BPJ has the task:
a. organize education and training in the preparation of scientific publications;
b. to collect and select the scientific work of lecturers and students for the purpose of publication;
c. conducting periodical publications of scientific work of lecturers and students in the form of other journals and publications; and
d. report periodically to the Dean.


Units that assist Dean in the implementation of academic quality assurance at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences level. The GJM consists of 5 (five) persons, including a chairman, a secretary, and 3 (three) members. The Chairman, Secretary, and GJM members are appointed and dismissed by the Rector for a term of 4 (four) years and responsible to the Dean. GJM has the task:
a. spell out the quality standard of education into academic quality documents in the Faculty;
b. monitor the implementation of academic quality assurance in the Faculty;
c. evaluate the academic quality assurance in the Faculty; and submit reports on the implementation of academic quality assurance in the Faculty periodically to the Dean.


Units that assist the Dean in conducting academic quality assurance at department level. UJM consists of 5 (five) persons, including a chairman, a secretary, and 3 (three) members. The Chairman, Secretary, and UJM members are appointed and dismissed by the Dean for a term of 4 (four) years and responsible to the Head of Department. UJM has the task:
a. spell out the quality standard of education into academic quality documents in the Department;
b. monitor the implementation of academic quality assurance in the Department;
c. evaluate academic quality assurance in the Department; and
d. submit reports on the implementation of academic quality assurance in the Department periodically to the Head of Department.
